Who We Are
Emmanuel Community Hospital (ECH) is a community –based primary healthcare facility located at Abeka Lapaz, a peripheral suburb of the capital city, Accra. Established in 2013, it serves a population of about 120,000 people.
The hospital runs a 24-hour service consisting of in and outpatient care with 25 beds capacity. There are single and double bedrooms. Our services include providing emergency services, general physician consults, Obstetric and gynaecological consults, Surgical consult, paediatric consult, dental services, dietary and laboratory services. Other services include X-ray and ultrasonography, and pharmaceutical services, among others.
Emmanuel Community Hospital has well trained and competent staff who provide care with topmost professionalism and a customer friendly environment.
Emmanuel Community Hospital also has a training school with over 100 trainees in medical laboratory technology, health care assistant, clinical and medicine counter assistantship. Graduates from our school are equipped with the requisite competence to provide quality healthcare to their clients. We also offer outreaches and cooperative social services as well, in giving back to our society.
Our facility is accredited by the Health Facilities Regulatory Agency (HeFRA) and is currently registered with the National Health Insurance Authority and other private health insurance companies.
Private companies are provided special care packages for their employees and dependents.
